Surveyor / Geomatics Technician – Reality Capture Specialist
We are seeking a qualified professional in Surveying/Geomatics to support field surveys, reality capture, and geospatial data processing across engineering, infrastructure, and mapping projects.
The position is primarily field-based, requiring operation of surveying equipment and reality capture technologies, as well as data organization, processing, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct planimetric and altimetric (planialtimetric) and cadastral surveys in indoor and outdoor environments;
Perform staking-out, verification, leveling, and engineering support surveys;
Execute reality capture tasks, including terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) and other data acquisition methods;
Operate total stations, GNSS/RTK, terrestrial laser scanners, and supporting equipment;
Establish and survey topographic and geodetic control and reference points;
Support infrastructure, building, and industrial engineering projects;
Process, organize, and perform quality control on field-collected data;
Prepare and review technical reports, sketches, memorandums, and survey documentation;
Organize and maintain data backups;
Record and document all field activities;
Support development and improvement of technical and operational procedures;
Communicate field constraints, inconsistencies, and issues promptly;
Provide technical support to project teams as needed.

Total Station
GNSS/RTK
Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS)
Mobile Mapping / LiDAR
Photogrammetry and Drones/UAVs (RPA)
Topographic leveling
Geodetic control and reference points
Point cloud processing and management
CAD and/or GIS software
Mandatory Requirements
Technical degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field;
Practical experience in field topographic surveys;
Knowledge of planialtimetric and cadastral surveys;
Proficiency with total station and/or GNSS/RTK;
Valid driver’s license (Category B);
Availability for fieldwork, travel, and site-based operations;
Basic computer skills and data organization capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications (Differentiators)
Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS), LiDAR, and Mobile Mapping;
Photogrammetry and Drone/UAV (RPA) operations;
Point cloud processing;
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar software;
Control point establishment and surveying;
Infrastructure project experience;
Coordinate systems, cartographic projections, and georeferencing;
Surveying of structures, OAEs (Obras de Arte Especiais), buildings, and industrial environments.
Position Characteristics
Primarily on-site and field-based work;
Travel required;
Work in infrastructure sites, outdoor environments, and variable operational conditions;
May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or under special operational conditions, as required by project specifications;
Strict adherence to SSMA (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management System) and operational safety protocols.
