Geospatial Analyst - Data Specialist

Role: Geospatial Analyst This position involves extracting, analyzing, validating, and finishing geospatial data related to airfield infrastructure, including taxiways, runways, navigational aids, and hangars. Responsibilities include updating and debugging Python scripts, working with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and Sybase, and utilizing ESRI ArcGIS for feature collection and validation. The analyst will extract features from imagery sources and support data entry using Microsoft Access and Excel. Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years of GEOINT experience or relevant education with substitutions, and at least 1 year of feature collection and validation experience. Knowledge of airfield infrastructure, geospatial principles, imagery, and sensors is preferred. Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph is required. Skills: Proficiency in Python, VBA, SQL, geospatial databases, and ArcGIS. Strong understanding of coordinate systems, elevation models, and XML is advantageous. Excellent communication skills are essential, with physical ability to remain stationary and interact effectively with team members.
