About the Role

Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary The Geospatial Analyst – Enterprise Physical Operations is responsible for supporting the spatial data, mapping, and GIS analytical needs of the Enterprise Physical Operations (EPO) division. This role manages spatial databases, develops cartographic products, and performs spatial analysis to support facilities management, campus planning, sustainability, and physical operations across Washington University campuses. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update enterprise spatial datasets, base maps, and floor plans in ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro. Perform spatial analyses to support campus planning, space management, infrastructure projects, and environmental sustainability initiatives. Create web mapping applications, interactive dashboards, and mobile data collection workflows (Field Maps, Survey123). Integrate CAD, BIM, and tabular data into enterprise geodatabases. Provide technical GIS support, user training, and documentation to EPO staff. Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and external consultants on GIS data standards and system integrations. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of professional GIS experience, preferably in higher education, municipal, or facilities management environments. Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, Field Maps, Survey123). Experience with CAD/BIM data integration, Python scripting, and SQL databases preferred. GISP certification is a plus.
