Position / Missions
We are looking for a Data Analyst specialized in geomatics and geospatial data to join our team in Paris on a long-term mission.
Your mission will involve analyzing, processing, and visualizing geospatial data to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
You will operate in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment, using BigQuery for data processing and Power BI for visualization. Your geospatial analysis expertise will be key to understanding territorial dynamics and delivering data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Geospatial Data Processing
Collect and clean geomatic data (shapefiles, GeoJSON, WMS, etc.).
Transform and structure data for use in BigQuery.
Integrate diverse data sources (satellite imagery, sensors, external databases).
Analysis & Modeling
Analyze geospatial data to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
Use GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, or equivalents) for advanced spatial analysis.
Develop complex SQL queries in BigQuery to extract geolocated insights.
Visualization & Reporting
Build interactive dashboards in Power BI for geospatial data visualization.
Create clear, intuitive maps to represent results.
Produce concise reports summarizing analyses and recommendations.
Collaboration & Innovation
Work closely with business teams (urban planning, environment, logistics, etc.).
Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate geospatial data into decision-making processes.
Conduct technology watch on geospatial analysis tools and methodologies.

Technical Skills
Geospatial Analysis
Proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, PostGIS, etc.).
Experience processing geomatic data (vector and raster).
Cloud & Big Data
GCP (Google Cloud Platform): Experience with BigQuery for storage and analysis.
Advanced SQL for querying and transforming geospatial data.
Visualization
Power BI: Creating geolocated dashboards.
Interactive mapping: Integrating geospatial layers.
Experience & Expertise
Minimum 2 years of experience in geospatial data analysis.
Familiarity with geomatic data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, etc.).
Experience integrating geospatial data into cloud environments.
