About the Role

Geospatial Data Consultant Remote £60k - £70k base + 10% bonus + package We are working with an established property consultancy that operates at the intersection of real estate, data, and technology. They advise landowners, investors, developers, and public sector bodies on large-scale development, land assembly, and infrastructure projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Geospatial Data Consultant to take ownership of spatial data architecture, analytical workflows, and automated spatial pipelines. This is a technical role with significant autonomy, suitable for someone who enjoys building robust data products and translating complex spatial datasets into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Spatial Data Architecture & Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain automated spatial data pipelines using Python, SQL, and FME to ingest, clean, and integrate diverse property, environmental, and planning datasets. Advanced Spatial Analysis: Conduct complex spatial analysis to support land valuation, site selection, constraints mapping, and development feasibility studies. GIS & BI Integration: Integrate GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro / QGIS) with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) and cloud data warehouses to deliver interactive dashboards and web applications. Data Quality & Governance: Establish spatial data standards, metadata frameworks, and QA/QC processes across the consultancy. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal property consultants, clients, and technical teams to scope requirements and present spatial insights clearly. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience as a Geospatial Consultant, Spatial Data Engineer, or Senior GIS Analyst. Strong technical proficiency in Python (GeoPandas, Shapely, PyProj) and SQL (PostGIS, Snowflake, or BigQuery). Deep experience with spatial ETL tools (FME) and Esri or open-source GIS technology stacks. Experience building data pipelines, integrating API data sources, and working with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure). Familiarity with UK property, land registry, planning, or environmental datasets is desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and commercial teams. What's on Offer: Base salary £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience. 10% performance bonus. Fully remote working flexibility with occasional team meetups. Generous pension, private healthcare, and professional development support.
