About the Role
The Centre for Smart Governance (CSG), Government of Karnataka, seeks a highly skilled Geospatial Data Scientist to drive geospatial analytics, spatial intelligence and location-based decision support for its clients.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain geospatial data pipelines
Spatial modelling and raster/vector analysis
Build dashboards and geospatial visualisations
Apply AI/ML to remote sensing data
Publish and manage OGC services
Ensure geospatial data quality
Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Computer Science or a related field
4+ years of relevant experience
Tools and standards
ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoServer, MapServer, GDAL/OGR, PostGIS, Python, GeoPandas, Rasterio, Shapely, Fiona, PyProj, Xarray, SQL, Azure/AWS/GCP, GeoJSON, KML, GeoTIFF, OGC standards, ISO 19115, DCAT.
