Job Description
Stafford County is seeking a GIS Analyst to join the Information Technology / GIS Division.
Duties:
Maintains enterprise GIS databases, layers, and web mapping applications.
Performs spatial analysis and data manipulation using ArcGIS Pro and Python.
Assists County departments with GIS mapping, data requests, and spatial technology integration.
Conducts QA/QC on spatial data and maintains metadata documentation.
Supports public-facing open data portals and web dashboards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years of professional GIS experience in local government or similar environment.
Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and SQL/Python.
