GIS Analyst

GIS Analyst Little Rock, Arkansas (Onsite) Full-Time / Permanent | Grade 14 ($52,000 - $72,000) Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is hiring a GIS Analyst to join our System Information & Infrastructure division in Little Rock. In this position, you will maintain state highway linear referencing systems (LRS), analyze roadway pavement data, and create GIS cartographic maps for state transportation planning. Key Duties: Highway LRS Maintenance: Update state highway event layers, milepost markers, and road asset data in ArcGIS Pro. Spatial Analytics: Perform spatial queries, buffer analysis, and traffic volume mapping for federal reporting (HPMS). Map Production: Draft legislative maps, district road maps, and web dashboards via ArcGIS Online. Data QC: Quality-check highway inventory data submitted by district offices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field. 2+ years experience in GIS spatial analysis and transportation data modeling.
