GIS Analyst Olympia, Washington (Hybrid) Full-Time / Permanent | Salary $62,000 - $82,000 State of Washington - Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is hiring a GIS Analyst to join our Forest Resources Division in Olympia, WA. DNR manages 5.6 million acres of state trust lands, forestlands, aquatic lands, and natural areas across Washington State. Key Duties: Forestry GIS Mapping: Maintain forest inventory spatial layers, timber sale boundaries, and stream classification layers in ArcGIS Pro. Spatial Analytics: Perform spatial modeling for forest health, wildfire risk assessment, and salmon habitat restoration. Mobile GIS Support: Administer ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123 for field foresters and DNR survey crews. Requirements: Degree in GIS, Forestry, Natural Resources, Geography, or related field. 2+ years GIS mapping experience in forestry, land management, or environmental science.
