GIS Analyst

Keystone Solutions is seeking a GIS Analyst for a consultancy assignment at a client site in Brussels. The project focuses on modernizing a geographic portal containing historical maps, plans, landscapes, and aerial photographs while preserving its catalog functionality. Responsibilities include: - Investigating modern platform components, including current or new Esri components and alternatives such as GeoNetwork. - Assessing how multilingual metadata can be reused with minimal changes. - Defining how project partners can independently upload metadata. - Analyzing how users can search and visualize the collection. - Identifying suitable infrastructure and architecture, including estimated licensing, development, and maintenance costs. - Preparing a detailed functional analysis for the selected solution. - Developing a prototype with a user-friendly interface and multilingual metadata upload functionality. The assignment is expected to begin as soon as possible and continue until November 30, 2026. It is listed as a part-time engagement at two days per week. Active knowledge of Dutch or French is required, while English is considered beneficial.
