GIS Analyst — 2 Positions The GIS Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, managing, validating, and presenting spatial data to support GIS and mapping projects.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and process spatial and non-spatial datasets.
Perform spatial analysis, data validation, and quality control.
Create professional maps, layouts, reports, and GIS outputs.
Manage and update geodatabases and GIS layers.
Work with coordinate systems, projections, and spatial references.
Identify and correct data inconsistencies and topology errors.
Prepare data for project requirements and client deliverables.
Support the project team with GIS analysis and technical tasks.
Maintain accurate documentation and organized GIS datasets.
Preferred Skills
Good knowledge of
ArcGIS Pro / ArcMap
.
Experience with
QGIS
is an advantage.
Strong understanding of geodatabases, shapefiles, feature classes, and spatial data.
Knowledge of spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and map production.
Familiarity with coordinate systems and projections.
Good attention to detail and data quality.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
GIS Editor — 2 Positions The GIS Editor will mainly focus on creating, updating, editing, and maintaining accurate geospatial data according to project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Digitize and edit GIS features from imagery, maps, drawings, and other source data.
Create and update points, lines, polygons, and attribute information.
Perform feature editing and attribute updates.
Check geometry, topology, connectivity, and positional accuracy.
Correct errors and inconsistencies in GIS datasets.
Maintain standardized naming, coding, and attribution requirements.
Carry out data cleaning and quality-control checks.
Update geodatabases based on project instructions.
Follow established GIS workflows and project specifications.
Coordinate with GIS Analysts and project team members when required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
ArcGIS Pro / ArcMap
or similar GIS software.
Strong GIS editing and digitization skills.
Understanding of topology and spatial-data accuracy.
Ability to interpret satellite imagery, maps, drawings, and related datasets.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to handle repetitive editing tasks accurately and efficiently.
General Requirements
Candidates should have a
Bachelor's degree or diploma in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Remote Sensing, or a related field
.
Relevant practical GIS experience is required.
