About the Role
Position Summary:
Greenville Water is seeking a GIS Analyst I to join the Engineering Department. This position performs entry-level to mid-level professional GIS work including spatial data editing, cartographic map production, GPS field collection, and utility database maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Update water distribution system GIS data using ArcGIS Pro and enterprise geodatabases.
Perform field GPS data collection and verification of water utility assets.
Generate static and web-based maps for engineering staff, field crews, and management.
Assist with spatial queries, data analysis, and report generation.
Provide GIS technical support and assistance to internal departments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
1-3 years of GIS experience.
Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
Valid driver's license required.
