Applicant must have, at a minimum, a GIS oriented degree and experience working with ArcGIS Pro. The applicant must understand coordinate systems, basic geoprocessing tools, and demonstrate skills in cartographic representation. A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE: Map Creation Data Acquisition Data Storage Data Dissemination Database Entry Digital Deliverables Create cartographic products using established standards Utilize GIS tools and techniques to analyze, manage, and visualize data REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Degree in GIS or Geography REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with ArcGIS Pro Strong communication skills Highly organized and detailed oriented Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
