About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Conduct geospatial studies and analyses specifically for the sanitation sector.
Produce thematic maps, cartographic layouts, and spatial representations using ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcMap.
Update, validate, and maintain cartographic and cadastral databases for water supply networks, sewage collection systems, and other sanitation assets.
Perform spatial analyses to support planning, operations, and network expansion.
Integrate, process, and validate geographic data from diverse sources.
Support engineering, operations, and planning teams in interpreting spatial data.
Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of geospatial information.
Prepare technical documentation and support continuous improvement of GIS-related processes.
Mandatory Requirements
Completed undergraduate degree in Geography, Cartographic Engineering, Surveying/Geomatics Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geoprocessing, or related fields.
Proven experience as a GIS Analyst in sanitation projects.
Proficiency with the ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcMap).
Experience in developing and maintaining cartographic databases and technical cadastres.
Knowledge of geoprocessing, spatial analysis, and thematic map production.
Familiarity with water supply networks, sanitation systems, and urban infrastructure.
Understanding of coordinate systems, map projections, and georeferencing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise.
Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, or SQL Server Spatial).
Experience automating workflows using Python (ArcPy) or ModelBuilder.
Familiarity with geospatial ETL tools (e.g., FME or similar).
Experience integrating GIS platforms with enterprise systems.
