GIS Analysts

Garudalytics invites passionate GIS Analysts . We are seeking local candidates (preferred) with strong expertise in geospatial data processing and mapping. Important Requirement: Immediate joiners preferred Maximum notice period: 10 days Candidates must be able to join before 1st October 2025 Roles & Responsibilities: • Extract and digitize 2D features from high-resolution satellite imagery. • Create & update GIS layers (roads, buildings, LULC, water bodies, infrastructure). • Manage GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and quality control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse geospatial projects. • Generate maps, reports, and metadata for project delivery. Required Skills: • Proficiency in QGIS (mandatory); knowledge of ArcGIS is an added advantage. Experience in digitization, spatial analysis & georeferencing of large datasets. • Knowledge of satellite imagery interpretation and thematic mapping. • Familiarity with QC standards & GIS data management best practices. Strong understanding of coordinate systems and projections.
