Position Overview
The Hanseatic City of Stade is looking to fill a part-time position (33.5 hours/week, Salary Grade 9a TVöD) in the Staff Office Stade 2040 for a GIS and Cartography Specialist (m/f/d).
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisition, integration, and maintenance of geospatial data for municipal administration
Creation and provision of analog and digital cartographic products
Support for administrative tasks
Technical coordination and supervision of internal and external surveying projects
Execution of spatial analyses
Requirements:
Completed vocational training as a surveying technician or geomatics specialist (m/f/d)
OR: Further qualification as a certified GIS and geospatial data specialist (m/f/d)
Proficiency in common GIS software, especially ESRI ArcGIS (also other GIS platforms)
Knowledge of INSPIRE, particularly XPlanung, is desirable
Willingness and ability to independently acquire knowledge in new subject areas
Commitment to ongoing professional development
