GIS Assistant – Fieldwork – Cartago

GIS Assistant – Cartago Important energy sector company is seeking a GIS Assistant to support the updating, georeferencing, and digitalization of electrical network information within the GIS system. Academic Background: Technologist or Professional degree in: Electrical Engineering / Electricity Systems Industrial Engineering Related fields Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles. Key Responsibilities: Review investment project plans and network remodeling blueprints. Verify network data in the SPARD GIS system. Conduct field surveys to collect information and identify structures and conductors. Georeference points and infrastructure that have been modified. Record, process, and digitize technical information in the system. Update technical databases and information systems. Support the preparation of regulatory reports and electrical network updates. Manage information for blueprint printing and GIS process support. Requirements: Valid driver’s license or willingness and availability to drive. Availability for field activities. Proficiency in office software tools. Preferred: Knowledge of GIS systems, cartography, or georeferencing. Employment Conditions: Location: Cartago, Valle del Cauca. Salary: COP $2,199,391.
