GIS Business Manager - Bendigo based

About The Role: We are seeking a GIS Business Manager to lead our Bendigo-based defence geospatial operations in Victoria. This leadership role combines business management, project governance, client stakeholder engagement, and strategic oversight of geospatial data delivery for national defence contracts. Key Responsibilities: • Manage operational performance, resourcing, budget, and commercial delivery of defence GIS projects. • Act as primary client liaison for defence geospatial capability leaders and government stakeholders. • Oversee spatial data governance, quality assurance, and compliance with military mapping standards. • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of GIS specialists, cartographers, and spatial data engineers. Qualifications: • Proven track record in GIS business management, project leadership, or geospatial consultancy management. • In-depth understanding of enterprise GIS technology, defence mapping requirements, and spatial data systems. • Australian Citizenship required (Security Clearance eligible).
