GIS Cloud Migration Project Manager

Who We’re Looking For! Are you an experienced project manager energized by complex IT challenges, cloud migrations, and working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)? Do you inspire colleagues and partners, and successfully guide technical projects to successful completion? Then we want to hear from you! Where Will You Work? You’ll join a government organization in full transformation, operating in a hybrid setup with a fixed location in the eastern part of the country. The department you’ll be part of is dedicated to public service delivery, data-driven operations, and innovative digital solutions. What Will You Do? As project manager, you will lead a two-phase project to migrate the current on-premise GIS environment to a modern cloud-based environment on Microsoft Azure. In Phase 1, you’ll support a Proof of Concept (POC) to test performance, functionality, and costs. Based on this, you’ll develop a clear approach plan and project budget for Phase 2: implementation of the new foundational environment. You’ll oversee the setup of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, FME (Server), Azure SQL, and ArcGIS Online. Additionally, you’ll ensure the formalization of processes, work instructions, and training, and guarantee that both the technical and user organizations are fully prepared for the transition. What We Expect From You: Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree or higher Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager within IT/ICT Demonstrable experience with GIS, cloud migrations, and data management Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, FME, cost estimation, and developing approach plans Structured, analytical, collaborative, and skilled at aligning diverse stakeholder interests What Can You Expect From Us?
