GIS Data Analyst

We are seeking a **GIS Data Analyst** to support the ingestion, processing, and analysis of geospatial data that powers the insights in our ecosystem management platform. In this role, you will work closely with flight operations, ecologists, data engineers, and data scientists to **own the complete geospatial data processing workflow** . You will be responsible for ingesting different types of raw data (drones, satellites, field, RGB, MSP, LIDAR to name a few) into the cloud, kicking off and monitoring processing pipelines (including photogrammetry, georeferencing, tiling, labelling), production of client-ready GIS products & insights (orthomosaics, maps, layers, etc), performing QA/QC, and generally being an expert on all things data! You will also support AI model development through preparation of training data, labelling and annotation, and publishing final maps and layers. This is a **hands-on data analytics role** (not software development) that requires strong exposure to multi-modal geospatial & remote sensing data, automated processing workflows, and data processing and visualization tools (such as Pix4D, MetaShape, LAStools, Capture Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth). #### **Your Responsibilities Will Include** * Ingestion, processing, analysis, and QA/QC of geospatial data of different types and sources (e.g., multispectral drone imagery, LiDAR, SAR, satellite data) * Support the development and deployment of AI/ML algorithms for geospatial data processing and analysis * Build, manage, and query spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) to enable analytics and visualization * Collaborate with AI, robotics, and ecology teams to integrate geospatial data into autonomous mapping, seeding, and monitoring systems * Perform data validation, quality checks, and consistency monitoring across platforms * Document data pipelines, workflows, and system components * Stay up to date with GIS and geospatial data engineering best practices and contribute improvement ideas **What are we looking for?** * Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field * 3+ years of experience in data analytics, geospatial data processing, or a related role * Proficiency with GIS tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS * Experience working with spatial databases * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and data visualization tools * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience processing and analyzing remote sensing data * Exposure to ecological, environmental, or Earth observation datasets * Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to geospatial data * Experience working with large-scale or real-time data pipelines Apply with your CV and tell us what makes you & your experience a great fit for Nabat. **How To Apply** Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with Nabat?
