About the Role

Routed to the Head of the Data Administration Unit, you will lead the industrialization and maintenance of automated geospatial data processing within the dedicated data warehouse and contribute to geospatial data administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated processing pipelines for geospatial data
Design, industrialize, and maintain automated workflows and their orchestration—primarily using FME ETL, Python, and SQL
Organize, structure, and secure the ingestion and distribution of geospatial data between systems, tools, and applications
Contribute to the metadata catalog
Implement controls to ensure processing and data quality, integrity, and reliability
Write and maintain technical documentation
Provide technical support related to data processing
Act as a point of reference for end users
Define frameworks and best practices
Advise and support data administrators and project managers in implementing and managing data workflows
Lead a user community and support skill development in ETL/FME usage
Conduct and share technology watch on relevant tools and platforms
Contribute to the administration and evolution of the geospatial data infrastructure
Participate in the full geospatial data lifecycle: modeling, integration, validation, quality assurance, cataloging, and dissemination
Define and enforce data management rules; monitor and ensure the proper functioning of web services provided to users
Leverage ESRI technologies and support the evolution of GIS practices
Conduct forward-looking monitoring on open data and available data streams, assessing potential use cases
Required Profile:
You are an experienced GIS/geomatics professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing, integrating, and automating geospatial data.
Must-Haves:
Proven professional experience in GIS/geomatics
Strong expertise in ETL processes (especially FME)
Proficiency with PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases
Advanced SQL and Python skills
Solid familiarity with ESRI tools
Experience in structuring, integrating, and validating geospatial data
Skills:
Design and optimization of data processing pipelines
Project-based work in GIS and spatial ETL environments
User support and procedure documentation
Cross-functional collaboration and regular reporting
