Job Title: GIS Data Expert - Utilities & Infrastructure Location: Saudi Arabia Contract Type: Contract (Fixed-Term) Contract End Date: 10 July 2027 (extendable based on project requirements) Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role We are urgently seeking a GIS Data Expert to support our client in his GIS data activities. This role focuses primarily on GIS data conversion, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on converting utilities and infrastructure as-built drawings and data into structured, topologically valid Enterprise GIS datasets. Mandatory Requirements Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience specifically in utilities and infrastructure as-built conversion to GIS, including data extraction, conversion, cleansing, validation, and QA/QC Strong understanding of utilities, infrastructure, and land datasets, including their spatial relationships, topological behaviors, network connectivity, and applicable validation/connectivity rules Native Arabic speaker, available to join immediately Hands-on experience with the Esri ArcGIS ecosystem, particularly ArcGIS Pro and Enterprise Geodatabases Preferred Qualifications Experience developing and automating ETL/data transformation workflows using Python, ArcGIS ModelBuilder, and/or FME Experience designing enterprise geodatabase models, including feature classes, relationships, domains, subtypes, topology, and network-related data structures Good understanding of different types of satellite imagery, their characteristics and applications, and familiarity with major satellite imagery/data vendors Why Join This Project This is a high-visibility engagement supporting one of Saudi Arabia's leading industrial development authorities, working on large-scale utilities and infrastructure GIS conversion with real impact on national infrastructure planning.
