For this role, we’re looking for a profile that combines spatial insight with data and analytical technology—someone comfortable navigating GIS, data engineering, and data analysis, and who treats spatial data as a first-class data source within broader data solutions. Your Role as a Data Engineer: Work location: At your client’s site, a GeoSolutions office/hub, or remotely Analyze spatial and functional questions and translate them into scalable data and analytical solutions Process and analyze spatial data at scale using reproducible workflows, with attention to performance and maintainability Help clients and project teams understand where spatial data adds value and how these insights can inform decision-making and analysis What We Expect from You: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent Demonstrated experience working with spatial data in a professional context Experience with spatial data processing tools, such as GIS software, spatial databases, SQL, scripting (e.g., Python), or workflow tools (e.g., FME) Understanding of how to process and analyze spatial data at scale, with experience setting up or using reproducible spatial workflows Ability to independently develop analyses and data solutions, and clearly communicate their value What We Offer You: Attractive compensation package: gross salary (based on experience and qualifications), plus company car or mobility budget, meal vouchers, hospitalization and group insurance, and monthly expense allowance Healthy work-life balance: flexible working hours to support motivation both inside and outside working hours Openness to new ideas: you’re not just a number—you’re a valuable team member.
