GIS Developer

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications using ESRI products such as ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server. Develop custom geospatial solutions and tools using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages. Integrate GIS applications with other data systems and technologies to support comprehensive data analysis and visualization. Perform spatial data analysis and create high-quality maps, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver GIS solutions that meet business needs. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior GIS developers and analysts. Stay updated with the latest advancements in GIS technology and best practices, and incorporate them into projects. Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of spatial data and GIS applications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in GIS development, with a strong focus on ESRI products. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with web GIS development using ESRI Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, or similar frameworks. Strong understanding of spatial data management, geoprocessing, and spatialanalysis techniques. Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, or Oracle. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for clean/green energy and sustainability. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with open-source GIS tools and libraries. Knowledge of the energy sector, particularly in areas such as renewable energy, utilities, or virtual power plants.
