About The Role: Our Geographical & Information Technology Services Department is looking for an experienced GIS Developer to join our technical team. The GIS Developer plays a key role in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise GIS applications, spatial databases, and automated geospatial workflows that support municipal operations and public web services. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based GIS applications using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, Experience Builder, and Web AppBuilder. • Develop Python scripts and FME workbenches to automate spatial ETL processes and integrate GIS with municipal business systems (Tempus, Cityworks, Amanda). • Administer enterprise geodatabases (ArcSDE / SQL Server) and ArcGIS Server/Portal services. • Provide technical expertise, system integration support, and GIS solutions architecture for city departments. Qualifications: • Diploma or Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geomatics, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in GIS application development and Esri software suite. • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, FME, ArcPy, and SQL.
