Qualifications Strong GIS skills, including experience with common GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data editing, analysis, and visualization. Proficiency in data management and quality assurance, including working with large datasets, performing data validation, and maintaining metadata. Basic technical skills such as familiarity with databases, data formats (e.g., shapefiles, geodatabases, CSV, XML), and mapping tools. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive or regulated information. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document procedures clearly. Relevant education such as a degree or coursework in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience considered. Prior experience in public records, legal, research, or data services environments is beneficial, along with an understanding of confidentiality and compliance standards.
