About the Role

**Job Title:** GIS Engineer - Telecommunications #### **Requirements:** * **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Geography, or in a related field. * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth; experience. * **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** * GIS Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain GIS databases, maps, and applications to support telecommunications network planning, design, and operations. * Network Planning and Design: Utilize GIS to analyze and optimize telecommunications network planning and design, including fiber optic cable routes, cell tower locations, and network infrastructure. * Data Management: Manage and maintain large datasets, including spatial data, network infrastructure data, and customer information. * Mapping and Visualization: Create maps, reports, and dashboards to visualize telecommunications network data, including network coverage, capacity, and performance. * Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network planning, engineering, and operations, to provide GIS support and expertise. * Conduct field survey, update routes and create maps. * Maintain and organize spatial data for network assets. * Work closely with NOC, field teams and network planning. * Manage and track trouble tickets/complaints, ensuring timely closure within defined SLAs. * Supervised field teams. Work Location: Karachi (Korangi). Job Type: Full-time Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month #### Work Location: In person
