About the Role

The Cables and Pipelines Engineer is responsible for designing, reviewing, and delivering technical solutions for underground utility infrastructure projects, including cables and pipelines, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role involves close collaboration with clients, preparation of technical documentation, and adherence to internal QA/QC standards. #### **Qualifications** * Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. * **At least 4 years of relevant experience** in fields such as telecommunications or public infrastructure. * With background in managing **underground utility systems, including cables and pipelines.** * Skilled in using **AutoCAD and other GIS-based tools (required)** * Must have proven **experience in both doing fieldwork and reviewing, designing, and mapping of underground cables & pipelines** (preferably infrastructure or telco projects). **Specific Responsibilities** * Always uphold the organizations Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. * Create designs that meet client expectations and align with the requirements of all project stakeholders. * Take part in client meetings to review objectives, share updates, and incorporate feedback. * Produce technical memoranda or advisory reports offering expert recommendations to clients. * Complete all assigned tasks within the designated timeframes, ensuring both client satisfaction and project efficiency. * Keep current with relevant technical knowledge, especially concerning active test plans and their specific standards. * Ensure all tasks and associated documentation are finalized in accordance with established guidelines and quality standards. * Consistently follow internal protocols, policies, and standards to maintain quality and coherence across all work. * Perform additional duties as assigned, including those supporting departmental goals or contributing to professional growth and training. * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at all times. * Stay informed about the companys quality assurance processes. * Follow all QHSE and HR-related policies and procedures. **Additional Qualifications:** * Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (minimum level C1). * High ethical standards with a strong sense of accountability. * Effective time management and prioritization to meet tight deadlines. * Client-focused with a results-driven attitude. * A collaborative team player comfortable working in diverse environments. * Confident communicator who thrives in remote and collaborative work settings.
