GIS Engineer (Saudi National)

Job Description: The GIS Engineer will develop and maintain geospatial databases and produce detailed maps to support urban development and heritage projects. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain GIS databases and generate detailed maps for planning and design. - Perform geospatial analysis to support site planning, heritage assessments, and logistics decisions. - Ensure GIS data aligns with architectural and civil engineering layouts and integrate layers into PMIS/EDMS. - Conduct field data collection using GPS, drones, and mobile mapping tools and maintain metadata. - Provide GIS inputs for stakeholder presentations and progress reports. - Train team members and document GIS workflows for handover. Requirements: - Must be a Saudi National (mandatory). - Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, or Survey Engineering (Master's degree preferred). - 8 to 12 years of professional experience in geospatial engineering. - Experience with land development, cadastral, 3D digital twin, or urban planning projects in Saudi Arabia. - Familiarity with project management consultancy (PMC) roles and historic urban areas. - Ability to train others and communicate complex spatial data effectively.
