GIS Expert

Position GIS Expert Description We are seeking an experienced GIS expert for a project with a government infrastructure entity, in support of a tender for Israel’s natural gas pipeline network. The successful candidate will assume a professional and leadership role, responsible for managing the organizational GIS infrastructure and delivering support, maintenance, development, and implementation services. Location: Tel Aviv (on-site at client premises) Workload: Part-time, approximately 90% of a full-time position Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and upgrading GIS systems and providing ongoing support—mandatory. Proven experience executing at least 6 GIS system projects for one or more public-sector entities—mandatory. Experience working with geographic and spatial databases. Experience developing, customizing, or implementing ESRI, QGIS, or similar GIS-based systems and tools. Experience integrating GIS systems with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or engineering platforms. Experience delivering GIS projects for a government infrastructure company—significant advantage. Strong professional leadership, service orientation, independence, and high availability.
