GIS Foundation Specialist - Bendigo based

About The Role: We are seeking a GIS Foundation Specialist to join our Bendigo-based defence geospatial team in Victoria. This role provides foundational GIS data management, cartographic production, spatial database administration, and technical geospatial support for critical defence mapping projects. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain spatial foundation databases, elevation models, and topographic mapping datasets. • Perform cartographic map production and spatial data analysis using Esri ArcGIS Pro and spatial database systems. • Enforce defence spatial standards, data governance, and metadata requirements. • Support project teams with spatial data requests and technical GIS assistance. Qualifications: • Degree/Diploma in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, or relevant discipline. • Proven experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro, geodatabase management, and spatial analysis. • Must be an Australian Citizen eligible for Security Clearance.
