About the Role
Job Description:
GIS (Geographic Information System) Specialist Position
In this role, you will use GIS to create and manage map data for roads, rivers, water supply/sewage systems, agricultural land, forests, and urban planning. Your work will support regional development, disaster preparedness, and infrastructure improvement by digitizing maps and survey data.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating and updating map data using GIS software
Organizing and registering survey data and aerial imagery
Inputting and editing geographic information
Integrating with CAD data
Performing spatial data analysis and visualization
Preparing deliverables and reports

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Required:
Valid Class 1 or Class 2 ordinary driver’s license (AT-only acceptable)
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)

Working Hours & Days:
9:00 – 18:00 (75-minute break)
Overtime: ~20 hours/month on average
Holidays & Leave:
April – June: Weekends and national holidays off
July – March: 2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays, plus Sundays and national holidays
Company Foundation Day (July 1): Holiday
Summer vacation
Year-end/New Year holiday
Paid leave: 3 days upon hiring, 7 days after 6 months
Annual holidays: 110 days
Work Location:
Smoke exposure prevention measures in place (designated smoking room)
Occasional business trips (1–3 days, several times per year; daily allowance provided)

Compensation:
Base Salary:
¥190,000 – ¥240,000 per month
Allowances:
Qualification allowance: ¥5,000 – ¥30,000 (based on certification)
Technical allowance: ¥5,000 – ¥30,000 (based on performance and circumstances)
Commuting allowance: Up to ¥20,000/month
Annual raises (once/year) and bonuses (twice/year; based on prior-year performance)
