GIS Insights & Reporting Specialist

Chorus is New Zealand's largest telecommunications infrastructure provider. We are looking for a GIS Insights & Reporting Specialist to join our Asset Management and Network Strategy team in Auckland. About the Role: You will translate spatial net performance data into actionable commercial insights and executive dashboards, supporting strategic decisions on digital network expansion and fiber rollout. Key Responsibilities: Develop spatial reporting dashboards in Power BI and ArcGIS Insights; Analyze network coverage data against demographic and economic datasets; Automate data extract, transform, and load (ETL) routines using Python / FME; Provide spatial analytics support for regulatory reporting and capital expenditure planning. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in GIS, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related discipline; 3+ years experience analyzing spatial data in telecom, utility, or infrastructure sectors; Advanced skills in Esri ArcGIS Pro, Power BI, SQL, and FME; Strong communication skills to present geospatial findings to non-technical stakeholders.
