Job Title: ESRI Utility Network & Smallworld Data Migration Location: Bengaluru & Hyderabad Department: GIS / Geospatial Solutions Employment Type: Full-Time Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Geomatics, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience: 5 to 7 Years About the Job: Gnapi Technologies is seeking a high-impact GIS Consultant with deep expertise in ESRI Utility Network (UN) and GE Smallworld to lead and execute complex bi-directional data migrations. This role is critical for large-scale utility transformation programs involving legacy Smallworld systems and modern ESRI Utility Network architectures. What We Are Looking For: A highly motivated GIS professional with deep expertise in ESRI/Smallworld technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in complex enterprise environments What you'll Do: - Lead end-to-end GIS data migration between GE Smallworld and ESRI Utility Network - Analyze and map Smallworld schemas and data models to ESRI Utility Network - Design migration strategies for structure networks, domain networks, asset groups, asset types, and associations - Handle network topology, connectivity rules, containment, and association migration - Perform data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration quality checks - Support cutover, rollback, and delta migration strategies Must Haves: - Large-scale utility GIS data migration experience - FME or FME-alternative migration approaches - Python / ArcPy-based migration frameworks - GDAL/OGR and database-driven ETL - Oracle Spatial, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server - Strong SQL and spatial query optimization - Python scripting for automation and validation
