About the Role
Job Description
For a significant role in urban planning, we are seeking a GIS systems operator to join our team. This is a professional and in-depth opportunity involving collaboration with government bodies and participation in projects with broad impact on Israel’s planning landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional work in the fields of land registration, real estate, mapping, planning, parcelation, and land settlement.
Ingestion, updating, and refinement of data into GIS systems.
Daily work with ArcGIS software.
Monitoring plans implemented within information systems.
Interfacing with government agencies and key stakeholders across various sectors.
Position Details:
Full-time position (Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, hourly salary).
Long-term stable employment within government projects.
Security clearance required.
Requirements:
A diploma as a certified engineer/technician in architecture/construction, or a recognized bachelor’s degree in mapping (e.g., geography), or military service in the mapping field + 6 months to 1 year of professional experience with GIS software.
Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in consulting work.
Significant advantage: Familiarity with the Israeli cadastral system.
