If so, the Raumdatenpool Kanton Luzern (RDP) offers you a dynamic role at the intersection of cantonal, municipal, and utility sectors.
Your Responsibilities
Lead and support complex WebGIS projects—from concept and planning through implementation and stakeholder engagement
Coordinate projects and activities to facilitate the exchange, use, and accessibility of geospatial data across the Canton of Lucerne
Advance geospatial data processes, WebGIS and GIS applications, and the Geoportal for Lucerne’s municipalities
Develop data and visualization models—both independently and within interdisciplinary working groups
Coordinate technical, operational, and organizational interfaces across various stakeholder groups
Support the RDP secretariat with operational and administrative tasks, including user support, member management, reporting, website maintenance, and event coordination
Your Profile
University or Fachhochschule (FH) degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, Environmental or Natural Sciences, or equivalent qualification
Several years of hands-on experience with Esri WebGIS products (especially ArcGIS Enterprise)
Proven project management experience in GIS or geospatial information environments
Knowledge of relevant geospatial standards (e.g., INTERLIS, OGC) and experience with geodata processing and automation (e.g., SQL, FME, iG/Script) is advantageous
Structured, solution-oriented, and independent work style, combined with strong goal- and results orientation
Strong communication and teamwork skills, openness to change, and enthusiasm for continuous process and service improvement
