GIS Solution Architect

Schneider Electric Digital Grid is hiring a GIS Solution Architect in Spain. The role ensures projects using Schneider Electric software and solutions are designed, developed, and deployed efficiently and consistently while meeting end-user business requirements. Key responsibilities include defining technical approaches with project teams, leading technical architecture and integration workshops, gathering business requirements, developing data modeling documentation, designing customer solutions, preparing analysis and specification documents, guiding project teams, supporting utility-domain expertise, performing system and database capacity planning, and supporting solution sales with fitment and effort estimates. Requirements include a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related computer-focused field; 5+ years of software or systems development experience, preferably in utilities; 5+ years of GIS experience with Esri; experience with electric, gas, water, or telecom/fiber domains; enterprise software and server-side services; system integrations; Windows, Linux, networking, web servers, troubleshooting; client-side and server-side development using C#, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell; customer workshops; architecture domains such as enterprise systems, data architecture, integration architecture, solution design, or business architecture; Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL; and spatial and non-spatial database design.
