About the Role
Develop maintain and manage GIS databases maps and geospatial datasets for engineering and infrastructure projects Perform spatial analysis georeferencing mapping and cartographic activities to support project planning and decision-making Produce high-quality 2D and 3D visualizations animations and digital models for infrastructure urban development and capital projects Integrate GIS data with BIM CAD and engineering models to support design coordination and project delivery Convert and manage geospatial data across multiple formats Shapefile KML GeoJSON GML CAD SDE etc Create interactive maps dashboards and visualization products for project teams and stakeholders Support engineering planning and project management teams with accurate spatial analysis and reporting Integrate land survey and field-collected data into GIS platforms Ensure GIS data quality consistency and compliance with project standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative geospatial and visualization solutions Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of professional experience in GIS, preferably within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.Strong experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro, MapInfo, or similar GIS platforms.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-GIS integration.Experience in spatial analysis, geospatial database management, and GIS data visualization.Hands-on experience with data conversion and integration between GIS, CAD, BIM, and various geospatial formats.Strong understanding of coordinate systems, map projections, and geospatial data standards.Experience with 3D GIS modeling and visualization using tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcScene, ArcGlobe, or equivalent platforms.Knowledge of land surveying principles and integration of survey data into GIS environments.Experience creating professional 3D animations, fly-throughs, infrastructure visualizations, and project presentations using tools such as 3ds Max, Lumion, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Blender, or similar visualization software.
