GIS Specialist

Applus+ is seeking a GIS Specialist to support and manage Geographic Information Systems operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The position focuses on maintaining technical compliance, spatial-data accuracy, and efficiency across GIS activities. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting and overseeing GIS projects in line with approved technical standards. - Monitoring and managing spatial data according to established GIS methodologies. - Analyzing geographic data and producing maps and reports for project requirements. - Ensuring the proper use of GIS software and systems. - Conducting data validation and quality-control checks. - Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of GIS outputs. - Supporting integration between GIS data and other operational systems. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field; at least four years of GIS experience; and proficiency with GIS software.
