Position Overview:
The GIS Specialist maintains municipal spatial data, web maps, and enterprise geodatabases for the City of Barrie.
Duties:
Develop and update spatial datasets, asset inventories, and parcel layers.
Create web mapping applications, ArcGIS Dashboards, and mobile collection forms.
Perform spatial analysis to support municipal services (public works, emergency services, planning).
Provide GIS support and training to City staff.
Qualifications:
University Degree or College Diploma in GIS, Geography, or related field.
2+ years of municipal GIS experience.
Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, and SQL.
