About the Role
Boskalis is looking for a GIS Specialist to join our Dredging & Inland Infra unit. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for managing complex spatial datasets and delivering tailored GIS solutions for international land reclamation and coastal protection projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide GIS support to project teams, survey crews, and environmental experts;
Process, model, and visualize bathymetric, topographic, and environmental data;
Maintain and enhance internal WebGIS applications;
Automate repetitive data processing tasks using Python or FME;
Ensure data compatibility across various engineering and hydrographic formats.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geomatics, GIS, Hydrography, or Earth Sciences;
2-5 years of experience in GIS application within engineering, dredging, or offshore sectors;
Strong proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and Spatial Analyst tools;
Hands-on experience with FME or Python scripting;
Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
