State of North Carolina - Center for Geographic Information and Analysis (CGIA) is seeking a GIS Specialist in Raleigh, NC.
CGIA is North Carolina's lead agency for geographic information, operating the NC OneMap spatial data clearinghouse and advising state leadership on geospatial policy.
Key Duties:
NC OneMap Operations: Maintain, update, and publish statewide spatial layers (parcels, imagery, administrative boundaries) on NC OneMap.
Cloud Spatial Infrastructure: Manage cloud-hosted ArcGIS Enterprise and PostGIS environments.
Technical Consultation: Assist local governments and state agencies with spatial data integration and API access.
Qualifications:
Degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
3+ years GIS data management experience.
Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, Python, PostGIS, and web mapping APIs.
