Commonwealth of Kentucky - Division of Geographic Information (DGI) is hiring a GIS Specialist in Frankfort, KY.
DGI coordinates statewide Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI), imagery acquisition, and enterprise GIS services across Kentucky state government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Statewide GIS Data Management: Maintain foundational Kentucky spatial datasets (parcels, aerial imagery, elevation, road centerlines, hydrography).
Esri Enterprise Support: Administer Kentucky Geoportal services, ArcGIS Enterprise, and AGOL open data sites.
Agency Support: Provide GIS technical assistance, spatial data processing, and custom mapping for partner state agencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years experience in enterprise GIS data management and Esri software.
Commonwealth of Kentucky state benefits package (KERS retirement, health, paid leave).
