As an GIS specialist, you will be a part of
the team located in Wroclaw or Warsaw office working closely with colleagues globally - mostly from Scandinavian countries and the UK, both independently and under supervision of senior specialists. In addition, you will be cooperating with COWI projects team supporting environmental and other disciplines within GIS services.
Furthermore, on day-to-day basis you will:
Conduct comprehensive GIS analyses to address client and organizational needs.
Develop and sustain interactive dashboards to visualize spatial data effectively.
Create and manage dynamic web maps tailored to specific project requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain custom GIS applications to support business workflows.
Produce automated reports and data visualizations that facilitate decision-making processes.
Ensure data quality standards are consistently met through thorough validation and management practices.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members on GIS tools and best practices.
Research and implement emerging GIS technologies to enhance capabilities and project outcomes.
Support the integration of 3D spatial data with 2D mapping platforms for enriched spatial insights.

On top of that, you have:
Education in the field of Geodesy and Cartograph or Geography or equivalent with 3 or more years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge and experience of GIS theory and application
Technical proficiency of softwares such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, FME, Autocad
Experience of broader ESRI product suite including ArcGIS Online, Business Analyst, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Dashboards will be an asset.
Knowledge of data storage solutions that are optimized for geospatial data (i.e., PostGIS)
Knowledge of databases and GIS integration (Azure, SQL, FGDB) is nice to have.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Fluency in English language, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript with hands-on experience using geospatial libraries and frameworks will be an advantage.
Ability and willingness to undertake short business trips abroad.
