Your Responsibilities
As a GIS Specialist, you play a central role in developing and maintaining a high-performance GIS environment for the local government. You manage GIS software, spatial data/map layers, and geospatial information, and independently plan and organize all related tasks. You report directly to the Head of the Information Cluster and collaborate with various departments across the organization.

Your Profile
You have experience with or understanding of how local government operates.
You are detail-oriented and meticulous.
You communicate clearly and show attention to both internal and external customers.
You can read and interpret (CAD) plans.
You have an interest in GIS and are willing to continuously develop your skills in this field.
If Dutch is not your native language, you must provide a certificate upon hiring proving you meet at least:
- C1 (Effective Operational Proficiency) for reading and listening
- B2 (Vantage) for writing and speaking
What We Offer

Salary scale Bv (B1–B2–B3):
- Current gross monthly salary (based on index 2,1647): minimum €3,121, with potential for unlimited recognition of relevant professional experience, up to a maximum of €5,259.
Meal vouchers: €9 per working day (€10 from 2027 onward; employee contribution: €1.09 per voucher).
Holiday pay and year-end bonus.

You will be informed whether you passed this stage. If successful, you’ll receive a link to complete a non-eliminatory personality questionnaire from our external partner. Completion is mandatory and should be done as soon as possible.
You will then receive a link to schedule an interview with the selection panel on Friday, 27 November 2026.
