GIS Specialist

Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases for utility assets and infrastructure. • Create, edit, and validate spatial data from field surveys, satellite imagery, CAD drawings, and other sources. • Perform GIS analysis, spatial modeling, and data quality checks. • Prepare thematic maps, utility network maps, and project-related geospatial deliverables. • Support field teams in data collection, GPS/GNSS surveys. • Integrate GIS data with utility management systems and other enterprise databases. • Coordinate with project managers, survey teams, engineers, and clients for GIS-related requirements. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards. • Generate reports and map-based visualizations for project stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • Utility Networks: Prior experience working with utility data models (Water, Gas, Electric, or Telecom) is highly preferred. • GIS Software: Proficiency in ArcGIS Desktop / ArcGIS Pro and QGIS is mandatory. • CAD Integration: Strong experience in integrating AutoCAD drawings into GIS formats. Bachelor's / Masters degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Remote Sensing, or related field.
