GIS Specialist – Forest Data: Condition & Analytics (Remote Possible)

Job Description The Canton of Graubünden is seeking, effective immediately or by agreement, a technical specialist (GIS/data specialist) for forest-related (GIS) data within the Office for Forestry and Natural Hazards in Chur. You will be responsible for maintaining, harmonizing, and further developing our geospatial data in the areas of forest condition and development. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with subject-matter experts to calculate key performance indicators for forest conditions and development. Organize, archive, and ensure the accessibility of forest geospatial data. Automate data processing, calculations, and modeling workflows. Support analytical tasks and contribute to evidence-based forest management decisions. Location & Flexibility Based in Chur (Graubünden), with remote work options available.
