Position Overview
We are looking for a versatile specialist with a focus on pipeline documentation and surveying. Join our "Network Services" team within the "Construction & Operations" division as of now, on a permanent and part-time basis (19.5 hours per week).
Your Responsibilities
Object-based GIS data capture of new or modified infrastructure, as well as data re-capture within our pipeline network
Determination and naming of attribute data for components (e.g., pipeline sections, valves, pipes, pipe fittings, special components, and welds)
Detailed research for spatial allocation of documents (e.g., pipe registers, isometrics, expert reports)
Review and preparation of survey data for further processing in Smallworld GIS
Maintenance of plans and overview maps for pipeline and cable infrastructure (in GIS and AutoCAD)
Provision of data for projects, operations, publication obligations, and secondary systems (e.g., NAVI)
Verification of existing documentation for completeness
Decomposition of folder-based documents during GIS re-capture
Management and support in plotting network maps
Your Profile
Completed university degree in engineering or geosciences (Bachelor’s in surveying, geodesy, geomatics, etc.) or equivalent qualified professional experience in a technical environment with GIS applications (e.g., surveyor, technical draftsman)
Knowledge and experience with network information systems (ideally Smallworld GIS), as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
Structured, independent work approach with a highly precise and reliable working style
Strong quality awareness, teamwork skills, and good spatial visualization abilities
Good command of German, both written and spoken
