Who You Are
You hold a completed vocational training as an electronics technician for operational technology, geomatics engineer, surveying technician, or an equivalent qualification;
You are interested in energy and utility networks and ideally have foundational knowledge in this area;
You are experienced in using GIS applications and geographic information systems;
You are familiar with the collection, maintenance, and analysis of georeferenced data;
You have prior familiarity with basics of easements, land registers, and cadastral data;
You work carefully, structurally, and independently;
You are proficient with digital systems and have a strong affinity for technical contexts;
You are a true team player and actively contribute your strengths to collaborative efforts.
Your New Role
You want to know what a GIS Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on power grids does at e-regio? You are responsible for the collection, maintenance, and quality assurance of geographic and technical data related to our utility infrastructure. You actively support the documentation and further development of our energy and utility networks, making a vital contribution to secure and future-proof energy supply.
Key Responsibilities
Capture, maintain, and update existing network and infrastructure data in our GIS systems;
Review and assess changes in the power grid for their electrical properties and document them clearly in network documentation;
Ensure accurate documentation of power, gas, and water networks;
Create and update plans, map collections, and digital as-built documentation;
Analyze surveying data and integrate it into existing systems;
Support the processing of utility rights, easements, and land registry matters;
Monitor data quality and identify optimization potential in workflows;
Advise and support departments on GIS-related questions;
Participate in projects for the digitalization and further development of our network documentation.
