Title: GIS Support Consultant (Full-Time)
Requirements:
Completed IT degree, professional IT training, or equivalent qualification
Interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and diverse customer requirements
Team orientation and enthusiasm for independently advancing GIS-related topics
Ideally, experience in application support according to ITIL standards
Experience in troubleshooting at 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Solid technical understanding and interest in technologies such as Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and ESRI-GIS
Fluent German (minimum C1 level, negotiation-safe)
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain GIS applications (ESRI, VertiGIS, SPIE Infograph), including installation, maintenance, and configuration
Ensure smooth operation of the entire infrastructure
Expand expertise in GIS applications for cloud and on-premise solutions
Provide 2nd-level support: analyze and resolve incidents, implement service requests
Application support: diagnose and resolve issues, ensure quality of GIS data
Support GIS projects and assist with quality assurance
Collaborate closely with development teams to assess customer requirements from an operational perspective
Onboarding via remote or on-site mentorship (‘Patenmodell’)

Salary:
Starting salary: €45,000 – €65,000 gross/year (40 hours/week, 12 monthly salaries)
